Oh, you won't find any arguments from me; I concur with you.

Windows Live Writer is a fantastic offline blogging tool with a WYSIWYG editor. It interfaces with just about any blog service [Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad, WordPress, etc.] If you're a blogger you'll find this tool incredibly helpful- and it's refreshingly free from Microsoft, but doesn't mean Microsoft should go and bludgeon it with GUI stupidity.

I showed in my post that Windows Live Writer dev team didn't do anything to Windows Live Writer from 2009 to 2011 but add a fancy GUI and integrate some plug-ins.

If you put them side to side; it's easy to see.

I laugh every time someone writes a post about all the NEW features 2011 has over 2009; what a joke— they're just sucking up.

The rumor is they did this so that the interface will be touch compliant… so sad. There should've been at least an option for the old and NEW GUI.

So, I hear ya! Nice write up.

    Have a nice day…

    Until next time,
    Larry Henry Jr.
