Voyage to Antarctica
In late 2011 I fulfilled a lifelong dream and visited the last, most pristine and breathtakingly beautiful continent on our planet, Antarctica. Unfortunately, this included sailing across the notorious Drake passage from southern Argentina, a round trip that, for me, was pretty much four days of seasickness. The discomfort was a small price to pay, and despite foul weather, poor light, and being well out of my comfort zone photographically, it turned out to be just as magnificent as I had dreamed it would be.
